The Dauphin Story

Founded in 1986, Dauphin designs and makes cast acrylic mounts, cases and cabinets for an increasing number of State and private collectors alike. With an invitation to receive the Royal Warrant as Mount Makers to Her Majesty The Queen, Dauphin has established itself as the world’s largest maker of exquisite cast acrylic mounts for collectable items.

Dauphin Stock and Design Mounts
Most collectable items can be mounted best by selecting and ordering directly from our stock brochure. However, where a stock mount cannot meet a client’s exact requirements a Dauphin artisan will be happy to conduct an assessment and sketch for a new design. All design enquiries should be directed to our Head of Sales for an appointment to be made to meet in person or over Skype.

Dauphin Production and Delivery

Dauphin mounts are 100% hand crafted by our team of artisans at our 5,000 square foot Oxfordshire headquarters and workshop. All Dauphin production is "Made in Britain" so we can guarantee national and European stock delivery within three working days.

Dauphin Japanese Art Books

Dauphin publishes and distributes dual language reference books on Japanese Art including Satsuma, Netsuke, Ogi and Inro.
