FRIEZE ART FAIR

Frieze art fair display plinths and mounts for galleries and exhibitionsThis year we had more commissions for displaying artefacts at Frieze than ever before. From a display plinth with acrylic cover for a 16th century Ivory rosary at the stand of Daniel Crouch Rare Books, to the acrylic mounts for the Judith Scott spotlight by The Gallery of Everything, support and cradling her carefully crafted fibre and textile art works, which we were lucky enough to have at our workshop in the lead up to the fair.

We were excited to be there behind the scences before opening during the set up phase offering tech support. Having the pleasure of shaping some plate hangers onsite at the Roman and Williams Guild Gallery stand, shaping these to fit around and wall hang a large pair of Peter Voulkos chargers.

However most of our mount work was completely hidden and there just to support and hold artworks in place, such as our mounts hidden inside to support the paper sculpture by Do Ho Suh on the Lehmann Mauphin stand.

A highlight was a Lucio Fontana sculpture we had mounted and framed on the stand of Ben Brown Fine Art.

Displaying these aretefacts properly protects and adds gradure to any display.
